My Coffe Road was born from a single belief: that the world's best cup of coffee starts long before the roaster — it begins in the soil, the altitude, and the hands of the farmers who tend it.
My Coffe Road was founded in20 by a team of Colombian-American coffee lovers frustrated by one persistent problem: the gap between what farmers grew and what consumers got. Premium-quality lots were being blended away, their character lost in commodity channels.
"Every farmer who works with us has a name, a story, and a cup worth celebrating."
We went directly to the farms of San Agustín and Pitalito — two municipalities in Huila sitting above 1,500 meters — and built long-term partnerships on fair prices, transparency, and shared quality goals. Today we work exclusively with 34 family farms that have been with us since the beginning.
Explore Our Coffees →Co-founders Daniela Ríos and Marcus Webb meet at a specialty coffee event in Miami. Daniela grew up in Pitalito and knows the farms firsthand. Marcus has run e-commerce brands for a decade. Together they see the gap clearly — and decide to close it.
My Coffe Road signs its first agreement with six farms in San Agustín, guaranteeing above-market prices tied to cup score. The first container — 12 bags of Pink Bourbon — arrives in Miami. Tasting notes: peach, green grape, hazelnut.
We open our small-batch roastery in the Wynwood Arts District, bringing roasting in-house so we can control every step from green bean to bag. Roast-to-order begins. Bags ship within 48 hours of roasting.
Eight of our partner farms receive USDA Organic certification. We launch the Women Farmer Series to spotlight and reward the women-led farms within our network — paying a 15% premium above our standard direct-trade price.
Our Pink Bourbon and Geisha Reserve both receive Gold recognition at the Colombia Coffee Awards — the first consecutive wins for a US-based roaster sourcing exclusively from Huila.
We now ship to customers in 8 countries and work with 34 family farms. Every bag is still roasted to order at our Miami roastery, packed the same day, and on its way to you within 24 hours.
We believe great coffee is an act of collaboration — between soil and sky, farmer and roaster, cup and conscience. Every decision we make comes back to three commitments we've held since day one.
Every bag shows the farm, the farmer's name, the harvest date, the altitude, and the price we paid. You always know exactly what you're drinking and who grew it.
We pay 30–60% above Fair Trade minimums, guaranteed regardless of commodity market swings. When we do well, our farmers do better. That's not charity — it's the right model.
We will never scale faster than our quality can follow. Every lot is cupped before purchase. If a harvest doesn't meet our standard, we don't buy it — and we help the farm understand why.
The Huila highlands are among the most biodiverse regions on Earth. The farms we work with are surrounded by cloud forest corridors that shelter endemic birds, orchids, and water sources that feed communities downstream.
We fund shade-tree planting programs, support organic transition costs, and offset 100% of our roastery emissions through verified forest protection projects in the Colombian Amazon.
Born in Pitalito, Huila. Daniela speaks every farmer's name by heart and has cupped over 3,000 lots from the region.
E-commerce veteran turned coffee obsessive. Marcus built the direct-to-consumer model that puts freshness first — always roasted to order.
Certified Q Grader with 12 years of specialty roasting. Linh develops every roast profile with obsessive care for the farm's natural flavor expression.
